How Does the FlightJoe.com Flight Price Tracker Work?

A flight price tracker at FlightJoe.com is a powerful tool that helps travelers monitor airfare prices and alerts them when prices drop, making it easier to secure the best deals on flights.

Here’s how it works

The Platinum membership is for our frequent flyers, it allows you to monitor up to 24 flight routes and receive price alerts.
You can choose to receive price alerts either daily or only when the price drops below your specified threshold.
All plans offer the ability to cancel anytime.

Login and click on Dashboard.   Then select setup a “Tracker”.

  1. Select Your Route and Dates:
    • Start by choosing the specific route (departure and destination airports) and travel dates for which you want to track prices. This could be a one-way or round-trip flight.
  2. Set Up a Tracker:
    • Selected and enter your route (origin and destination), dates, cabin class, number of maxilal stops, and a threshold price. into the flight price tracker tool.
    • You can set a specific price threshold, which is the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for the flight (or percentage you want to save from the current price).
If the price of a flight drops to or below this threshold, the tracker will trigger an alert.
You can choose to receive price alerts either on a daily basis with the current price or only when the price drops to your specified limit. Make sure your contact information is correct.
  3. Automated Price Monitoring:
    • The flight price tracker will then begin to monitor the prices of flights for the specified route and dates. This process typically involves scanning multiple airline websites and booking platforms to gather price data. The tracker updates this information regularly — sometimes multiple times a day (Platinum Plan) — to ensure you have access to the latest prices.
  4. Receive Alerts:
    • When the system detects that the price has dropped to your desired level, you’ll receive an alert, usually via email. This alert allows you to quickly book the flight before the price changes again.
You can choose to receive price alerts either on a daily basis or only when the price drops to your specified limit.
  5. Book Your Flight:
    • After receiving an alert, you can click on the notification to view the flight options at the reduced price.
You can book direct with the given links,  at any OTA you like, or the airline website direct. (Usually our links have the best prices).
